The 2012 Olympics....only one day to go

With only 24 hours to go till the final IOC vote and with Paris and London running neck and neck, I'm not sure what outcome I dread more: the smirk on Jacques Chiracs face if Paris wins? Or the grin on Ken Livingstones if London wins?

On balance, I think I would rather London won. Not only would it be another victory for Le modèle Anglo-saxon. There's also a good chance that by 2012, Ken Livingstone will no longer be around to open the games (we hope!)
